smhi is responsible for the nwc saf/PPS package, consisting of five cloud products and one wind product, based on polar satellite imager data.

Below we give a short summary of the five pps products. For further details on the products and the NWCSAF in general please go to the NWC SAF web-site. There you may also acquire the pps software in order to run on your own locally received (direct readout or other) data.
