Real time monitoring

Real time monitoring of product performance and stability is shown here. This concerns direct readout (DR) and global Metop GDS data, and cloud products as received from the EARS -NWC service.

Objective

The pps software is being run in operational mode at smhi on direct readout data from the local receiving station in Norrköping. In addition we receive cloud products in near real time via the EARS-NWC service, produced from the pps.

The overall objective of the monitoring pages, is of course to be able to monitor the general performance of the pps products in near real time. This should allow users to also check their own local pps based production, whether it being based on local production or reception of ready made products via EARS.
